Keeping Our Packaging in Focus

We continuously review our packaging with regard to material use, packaging size, recyclability and applicable legal requirements. We aim to use packaging according to its intended function and avoid unnecessary use of materials.

European Requirements for Packaging

The European Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste – the so-called Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) – introduces new requirements for packaging across Europe.

The regulation covers, among other things, the design and composition of packaging, its recyclability, labeling and the handling of packaging waste. The requirements will come into effect gradually at different points in time.

We are also reviewing these requirements and continuously developing our packaging solutions accordingly.

Transparency About Our Packaging

This page provides an overview of the packaging materials used by HASSIA and how they should be disposed of.

The information will be updated whenever materials, packaging or legal requirements change.
